Most Brides are booking 12-18 months prior to their wedding date. So word to the wise: do not hesitate to reach out and see if your date is available! And if your date is available...jump on it! The best vendors always book up first, so to get your dream vendors - you should be ready to book ◡̈
All booking require a signed contract as well as a non-refundable, non-transferable retainer fee. The retainer goes towards your beauty services and secures your wedding date. No dates will be held until both a contract & the retainer have been made.
We typically travel within a 75 mile radius of our studio located in Lynnwood, WA during peak wedding season (June-September). Service locations that are greater than 75 miles or require a ferry to get to, are on a case by case approval & additional fees will apply.
There are no travel fees if you are getting ready within our 75 mile travel radius. There are additional travel fees for locations that our outside our travel radius or require a ferry to get to.
All weekend onsite bookings require a minimum of 4-6 services (depending on the date) to book or the equivalent in price.
If you are the only one needing services, I would first check with your party and family. Many brides are surprised at how many people actually want hair and makeup services! So just ask!
If you do not have a bridal party, mother/MIL, sister or friends interested in services (and it truly is just you), I would check our availability online to schedule an in studio appointment. There are no booking minimums for in studio appointments, so if it works with your wedding morning plans, and its available, then book it! Please note: Summer Saturdays are rare to have in studio availability.
Lastly, many brides will pay for the minimum service requirement in order to receive services for themselves. That way they are taken care of and if they fill the spots great, but if not - they still were able to book their dream vendor and feel fabulous.
You must have a set wedding date, meet our minimum booking requirement (or the equivalent value) and be getting ready within 75 miles of our studio in Lynnwood, WA. You are able to update your service location and headcount of services after reserving your date, as long as it still meets our booking requirements.
That's ok! Many brides book our minimum service requirement to ensure their wedding date doesn't get taken. It is however very important to update us as soon as possible with any additional services you want to add, so we can add on additional artists or stylists if needed.
We book on a first come first service basis, so unfortunately if you update us too late and we have no additional artists or stylists available, we will not be able to accommodate the additional added services.
You are not allowed to remove services from your signed contract as we specifically reserve the number of artists/stylists needed to accommodate your services and turn down other potential work to service your booking. We suggest only committing to the service you know for certain and then adding additional services on if needed.

Yes. We do require all Brides to have a preview (trial) appointment before their wedding day. This is a crucial piece of the process to ensure you look and feel your best on your wedding day! Not only will having a preview allow you to meet your artist before the big day, but it will allow you to see what works and doesn't work before its the actual day.
We hold all of our preview appointments at our studio in Lynnwood, WA near the Alderwood Mall.
Yes! We do offer preview appointments for mothers or friends after you have secured your date.
Typically Bridal services take 1 hour for hair and 1 hour for makeup (2 hours for both) and 45 minutes for bridesmaid or mothers hair or makeup (1.5 hours for both) per person.
Yes, absolutely! Large parties are our specialty! With AM BEAUTY having a large beauty team, we can seamlessly get through all your beauty services with multiple artists working at the same time! And what a vibe - getting ready next to all your besties AT THE SAME TIME!
If you book both hair and makeup, you will have one hairstylist and one makeup artist reserved for your wedding day. If you book hair or makeup only (and not both) you will have one makeup artist or hairstylist given the service you booked.
Each artist or stylist can take up to a Bride + 5 without needing any additional help. If you plan to book more than a Bride +5 for hair or makeup, additional artist/stylist/assistants will need to be added to accommodate the large number of services. Additional fees may apply.
No. Unfortunately, we need all services to be prepaid before the wedding and need to know the final headcount of services 30 days prior to your wedding to appropriately create your wedding day timeline.
Yes. All services reserved will be put on one invoice and be sent to the booking client. The booking client is responsible for collecting any payments from their party (if applicable). Payment is due 2 weeks prior to the wedding date,
We do not offer flower girl or junior bridesmaid services at this time. If you would like to include junior bridesmaids or flower girls in your services, they would be charged as a regular bridesmaid service.
Unfortunately, we no longer offer mens services due to the logistics of the wedding day. We are happy to recommend Stashe Mobil Barber for your mens wedding needs.
Yes, absolutely! We try our hardest to honor all artist/stylist requests to the bets of our ability! I can assure you, all our artists and stylists have gone through extensive training and you will be in great hands with any of our talented artists or hairstylist.
After booking we send out a questionnaire to get to know you, your personality and your beauty vision. We use this questionnaire to pair you with your dream artist that specializes in your particular style and matches your energy. You will typically be paired no later than 90 days before your wedding.
Yes! As for as the bridal world - we offer other services such as hair extension rentals, engagement shoot hair and makeup, rehearsal dinner glam, touch up hours etc.
We also offer hair and makeup for family and maternity photoshoots, work headshots, charity events, birthday parties and all your special events!
Yes, of course! We try our best to accommodate preview (trial) date requests - however we are very booked and busy on Summer Saturdays and likely cannot accommodate previews as we are out of the studio working weddings. Fridays & Sundays are easier to accommodate - so if you are planning to couple your preview with your bridal shower or bachelorette party, I would shoot for a Friday or Sunday!
Booking retainers are non-refundable, as we reserve to date specifically to work with you and turn down other work. You may cancel your booking up to 90 days prior without a refund. If you cancel your booking within the 90 day mark of your wedding, you will be responsible for 50% of the reserved services, as we will likely not get that date filled in such short notice.
